Abstract: View more than a dozen images of bone from both young and old human subjects that illustrate age-related bone loss. The photos depict the deterioration of the so-called trabecular network--a spongy scaffold that lends strength to bone--of vertebrae that occurs with age and also show sites of bone resorption.
