National Institute on Aging committee chooses three compounds for definitive longevity testing
Abstract: The winner of this race won't be the first to finish but the last. The National Institute on Aging's Interventions Testing Program has chosen three compounds to test in mouse longevity studies. The program is sponsoring rigorous, simultaneous experiments in three labs to determine which drugs or lifestyle interventions are most likely to prolong human life (see "Intervention Venture").
