STOCKHOLM--Epidemiological studies link use of certain analgesics, known as NSAIDs, to a decreased risk of Alzheimer's disease. But the link has yet to be tested experimentally, and researchers are fiercely debating just which drugs to test. The debate arises in part from disagreements over how NSAIDs might protect against Alzheimer's disease.
