Anti-Abeta antibody treatment promotes the rapid recovery of amyloid- associated neuritic dystrophy in PDAPP transgenic mice. J Clin Invest. 2005 Feb 1 ; 115(2):428-433

This paper denonstrates that neuritic changes in dystrophic neurites are reversible under anti-Abeta-antibodies. This finding supports the amyloid-hypothesis and confirms and extends the finding of Oddo et al. (Neuron. 2004 Aug 5;43(3):321-32) that tau changes in APP-PS1-tau triple transgenic mice are reversible after passive immunization with anti-Abeta antibodies.
